Any one know this about Iran?

It is perfectly legal under the 1968 Nuclear non-proliferation treaty for countries to use nuclear energy for civilian purposes, Iran actually follows the law. At the same time the UNited States has developed agressive offensive nuclear weapons programs used against non-nuclear countries, not just deterrence in the Cold War. We have also transported nukes to Pakistan and India, countries who have been mortal enemies since ww2, clear violations of the law which we ratified. I love it when the US accuses another country of illegality when they follow the law and we break it, the law doesn't apply to us. We had a nuclear program with the Shah in the 1970s and we also overthrew President mosadegh to aquire cheap oil.
