What is the best medicine for cramps?

I get really abd cramps. If I did not take any medcine I would be in bed in the fetal position to whole first day of my period. I have taken everything, Advil, Aleve, Pamprin, Midol etc. They help. But I still have quite a but of discomfort. Is there something else I should take or anything else I should do?
